This is the recipe that could have easily started the 'use it up' craze for leftover turkey. It's so classic and simple - just take your holiday dinner and put it in layers in a casserole, bake, and you have dinner again.
Of course, you can add as many layers as you want with this dish. If you have leftover green bean casserole, add a layer. If you have leftover potatoes, add a layer. Even if you have leftover macaroni and cheese, you can add a layer of those, too.
(I like to put the cranberry sauce on the top so I can do the optional glazed finish. Just be sure you make your casserole in a broiler-safe casserole dish.)
