Sesame Ginger Salad Dressing |

Ingredients

* 1/2 cup sesame oil
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1/3 cup diced onion
* 1/4 cup diced celery
* 3 1/2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
* 2 tablespoons diced fresh ginger
* 2 teaspoons sugar
* 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
* 1/2 teaspoon ketchup
* 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. Place all ingredients in food processor.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Serve immediately or store covered in refrigerate. Shake well before serving.

Consider serving this dressing on coleslaw for a change. The flavors are tangy and the ginger is a nice surprise with cabbage. This is also very tasty on green salads, as well as tossed with cooked vegetables, like broccoli or asparagus. Experiment a bit with this salad dressing and you'll find that you will want to keep some in your refrigerator at all times.
