Simply Easy Spicy Salsa

* 1 can (32 oz) stewed tomatoes
* 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
* 1 can (4 oz) chopped chili peppers
* 1 can (4 oz) chopped jalapeno peppers
* 1 medium sweet onion, diced fine
* 1 small green bell pepper, diced fine

1. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Let sit for 15 minutes, then spoon into tightly covered jar or other container.
3. Refrigerate and use as needed.
4. This mixture will keep in the refrigerator for several weeks.

We use this salsa as a dip for tortilla chips or as a marinade for meats and poultry. We also use as an ingredient in lots of Mexican style dishes.

Because it calls for mostly canned items, it's very simple to make. What I do is, when I am chopping onions and peppers for another dish, I just do one more of each and put them away in the fridge. That way I'm ready to mix up the salsa any time I get my canned items together.
