Slow Cooked Cola Roast - Crock Pot |

Ingredients
|
* 2 (10.75 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
* 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
* 1 (3 lb.) pot roast
* 2 (16 oz.) bottles cola

Directions
|
1. Place the soup and dry onion mix into a small mixing bowl.
2. Whisk until completely combined.
3. Place the roast into the bottom of the slow cooker.
4. Pour the soup mixture over the top of the roast.
5. Add the cola to the slow cooker and do not stir.
6. Cover and place the heat setting on high.
7. Slow cook 6 hours or until the roast is tender and cooked through.

If you haven't tried using cola to cook your pot roasts yet, this is a simple recipe in which to give it a try. The two soups give the pot roast a good tasting gravy and the cola seems to tenderize the meat. I'm not a scientist, but I figure there's got to be something fun going on when the cola gets involved. It's also just plain fun!
