Smoky Tomato Bacon Dip

Ingredients

* 2 cups sour cream
* 12 slices smoky bacon, cooked and crumbled
* 1 large tomato, seeded and very finely chopped
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

* assorted crackers

Directions

1. Mix first four ingredients in a bowl; stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.
2. Stir again then serve with crackers.

Story

Even though the ingredients are pretty basic, the flavors all work together extremely well, creating a very satisfying dip. Be sure to chop the tomatoes very fine and use a good, smoky bacon. You need the smoky flavor to really make the dip special. You can actually serve this as a little snack, or as an appetizer.
