Smooth and Spicy Macaroni Cheese Pot - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 3 cups cooked macaroni noodles
* 3 cups shredded Mexican style cheese combination
* 2 cups evaporated milk
* 1/2 cup water
* butter
* salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Lightly spray the crockpot liner with oil.
3. Put mixture in crockpot; set on LOW and cook covered for 4 to 5 hours, stirring several times during cooking.

This is a great macaroni and cheese dish that tastes great and is SO creamy!
Cook the macaroni until it is JUST done - not mushy or soft. Leave a bit of 'bite' or al dente to them. They will cook the rest of the way in the crockpot.
Be sure when you open the crockpot to stir the mac and cheese dish that you do so quickly. Every time you take the cover off, the crockpot will quickly lower in temperature. It will take a while for the temperature to come back up and you don't want that to happen because it will mess up your timing.
