S'more Candy Squares |
Ingredients
|
*1/3 C light corn syrup
*1 (6 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
*1/2 tsp vanilla extract
*4 C graham crackers, broken into small pieces
*1 1/2 C mini marshmallows

Directions
|
1. Pour the corn syrup into a heavy saucepan.
2. Place the pan on the stove over medium heat.
3. Bring the syrup to a brisk boil.
4. Adjust the heat to low.
5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
6. Blend in the vanilla thoroughly.
7. Stir and cook for 5 minutes or until the chips have melted.
8. Remove the pan from the stove.
9. Fold in the graham cracker pieces.
10. Gently stir in the marshmallows.
11. Butter a square baking pan on the bottom and sides.
12. Spread the candy into the pan.
13. Allow the candy to cool to room temperature before cutting.
