Soothing Almond Maple Smoothie


* 1 banana, cut into chunks
* 4 strawberries, stemmed and cut into chunks
* 8 oz milk
* 1 tbsp almond butter
* 2 tsp maple syrup


1. In a blender put the banana and strawberry chunks.
2. Slowly pour the milk in with the fruit.
3. Add in the almond butter.
4. Pour the maple syrup over the almond butter.
5. Blend on high until all the ingredients are mixed together well and smooth.


This is a smoothie that I think makes you feel more cozy than cool. The maple syrup and almond butter work together to create that "cuddled up by the fire" feeling. The banana and strawberries are still refreshing, but I enjoy this smoothie more as a nice way to relax at the end of the day. Try it as an after dinner drink and enjoy your evening.
