1. Stir together butter, sugar, garlic powder, pepper and salt. Put 2 teaspoons of mixture in skillet and heat over medium-high heat. Add pecans and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Put pecans in a bowl and set aside.
2. Put remaining garlic butter mixture in same skillet then add green beans. Cover and cook for 6 minutes over medium heat, stirring a few times.
3. Top with pecans.
