* 1 Tablespoon flour
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 2/3 cup milk
* 10 oz package frozen peas, thawed
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1. Combine flour, sugar, and milk in a medium saucepan and mix well.
2. Stir in peas and pepper.
3. Turn burner on medium high and bring to a boil.
4. Immediately turn down to low and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Peas are normally pretty sweet, but for a special creamy sweetness, this recipe is a real winner. Try this recipe as a side dish for baked ham. Kids will love it!
