Sweet Pineapple Pork with Peas - Pressure Cooker


*2 pork steaks, trimmed
*2 dehydrated pineapple slices
*2 sweet potatoes or yams sliced 3/4 way through
*1 C chicken broth
*1 C frozen peas with pearl onions
*1 tbsp honey (for serving)


1. Spray the pressure cooker well with a cooking spray, add the meat and brown on both sides for 5 minutes.
2. Place the pineapple over the meat then add the yams, peas, and chicken broth.
3. Bring to high pressure and cook 10 minutes then allow the pressure to drop on its own to 0.
4. Drizzle the honey over the yams before serving.


Using a pressure cooker for meals is a great way to get dinner on the table fast. Also, the nutrition is sealed in the dish because nothing escapes the inside of the cooker. This is a great meal for kids since it is so nice and sweet. Enjoy!
