Sweet Sausage Appetizers From The Islands - Crock Pot
Ingredients
* 2 packages (16 oz each) mini smoked sausage
* 2 cans (21 oz each) cherry pie filling
* 1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained
* 3 tablespoons brown sugar
Directions
1. Put sausage in crock pot.
2. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over sausages.
3. Cook, covered, on low for about 4 hours.
Story
Those little sausage appetizers that we all love to gobble up at potlucks and at holiday buffets have just taken a detour to The Islands. I love them hot and spicy, but this sweet treat, with its pineapple chunks and brown sugar, makes them reminiscent of luaus and sunsets. Enjoy!
