1. Steam broccoli just until tender (about 5 minutes).
2. Melt butter in a saucepan then add flour, mustard powder, salt and pepper. While whisking, slowly pour in milk. Cook over medium-low heat, whisking the entire time, until sauce is thickened.
3. Add the cheese, continue heating, stirring until melted.
4. Place broccoli in a serving bowl then pour sauce over and serve.
When my kids started eating broccoli, it was cause for celebration, indeed! But, then it happened. They got tired of the same old broccoli.
