Sweet bananas and peaches get a little bit of a tangy lift from the pineapple in this smoothie. But, pineapple can be quite sweet too, so be sure to look for pineapple that is not canned in super-sweet syrup.
Be sure to use nice, ripe bananas and peaches for the best blend of flavors. If the bananas are too green, they won't give you that real banana flavor, or the smoothness, either. If the peaches are not ripe, the smoothie won't have a nice peachy sweet flavor.
If you can't get ripe peaches, you can substitute canned peaches, just be sure you get the peaches packed in their own juices, and drain them. Don't forget to drain the can into a container so you don't waste the juice. Good for sipping over ice, or even in a marinade for chicken.
