Thanksgiving Day Apricot Bake


* 2 (15 oz) cans apricot halves, drained well
* 1/2 C sugar
* 30 snack crackers, crushed
* 5 tbsp butter


1. Spray a 9X13 baking dish well with a non stick cooking spray.
2. Allow the oven to preheat to 350 degrees.
3. Lay the apricot halves into the baking dish and sprinkle evenly with the sugar.
4. Cover the apricots with the crackers being sure to go all the way to the edges.
5. Dot the top of the crackers with the butter.
6. Bake 30 minutes or until the topping is a light golden brown.


We like our pumpkin pie, but there are times when a little break with tradition is fun! Serve this "apricot crisp" style dish with a little whipped cream on top for an extra special sweet treat.
