*2 (15 oz.) cans chili beans
*1 (15 oz.) can butter beans, rinsed & drained well
*1 (15 oz.) can black beans, rinsed & drained well
*1 C onion, diced small
*3/4 C green pepper, diced small
*3/4 C sweet red pepper, diced small
*1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped fine
*1 (18 oz.) bottle favorite barbecue sauce
*1 C vegetable broth (chicken broth if you need to substitute)
*1 C instant brown rice, uncooked

1. Place beans, onions, and peppers into the crock pot and stir to combine.
2. Stir in the barbecue sauce and broth.
3. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
4. Adjust the heat to high, stir in the rice and cook 30 additional minutes.
