Vegetables Kid Style


* 1/2 lb velveeta cheese, cubed
* 1/4 cup milk
* 1 can (16 oz) green beans, drained
* 1 can (16 oz) sliced carrots, drained
* 1 cup French's fried onions


1. Heat velveeta and milk in a saucepan over low heat; heat and stir until smooth.
2. Add vegetables and continue cooking until heated through.
3. Top with onions and serve .


If your kids are picky about their vegetables, this is a very kid-friendly version of a vegetable and cheese sidedish. Because you're using velveeta cheese, it will be very smooth and have a flavor your kids will know and love. You can actually use any vegetables that your kids like, whether it's green beans and carrots, or anything else. I chose these two vegetables because kids usually warm up to them pretty early on. Experiment and see what they ask for again.
