1. Remove cores from apples. Cut apples into small
cubes. Measure 2 cups of cubed apples into mixing bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice.
2. Cut the tops and bottoms off the celery ribs, then cut each rib into small cubes. Measure 1 cup of diced celery and add to apples.
3. Add mayonnaise to apples and celery and stir well.
4. Cover the serving plate with lettuce leaves, pile salad on top of the lettuce and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
