Yuletide Breakfast Pie |
Ingredients

* 1 lb bulk pork sausage, cooked and crumbled
* 1 C shredded Swiss cheese
* 1 C shredded Cheddar cheese
* 2 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shells
* 6 eggs, lightly beaten
* 1 C milk
* 1/2 C chopped onion
* 1/3 C chopped sweet red pepper
* 1/3 C chopped green pepper

Directions

1. Place unbaked pie shells into 2 separate pie pans.
2. Mix together cooked sausage and cheese in a bowl.
3. Pour 1/2 of the sausage mixture into each pie shell.
4. Place eggs, milk, onion green and red peppers into a mixing bowl and whisk until eggs are blended together well.
5. Place 1/2 of the egg mixture over the top of each pie.
6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
7. Bake 50 minutes or until knife inserted in middle of pies comes out clean.
8. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting to allow pies to set.
