Bacon Onion Pinwheels |
Ingredients

* 1 (3 oz) pkg. cream cheese, room temperature
* 1/4 C real bacon bits
* 2 TBSP onion, chopped
* 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
* 1 (8 oz) pkg. refrigerated crescent rolls

Directions

1. In a large mixing bowl place the cream cheese, bacon bits and onions.
2. Mix together and then add the pepper and mix again.
3. Make 2 rectangular pieces with the crescent rolls and pinch the seams
together.
4. Spread the cheese mixture on both pieces of the dough.
5. Roll the crescent dough up starting with the longest side of the rectangle.
6. Each roll is cut into 16 slices.
7. On a large baking sheet put a piece of aluminum foil sprayed with a non-stick cooking spray.
8. The oven is heated to 350 degrees.
9. On the baking sheet lay each slice with the cut side down.
10. Bake until a nice golden brown about 15 minutes.
