Barbecued Beans 'n' Dogs - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 28 oz can pork & beans
* 15 oz can great northern beans, drained
* 15 oz can black beans, drained
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 1/2 cup brown sugar
* 1/3 cup barbeque sauce
* 1/4 cup ketchup
* 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
* 1 tablespoon chili powder
* 8 hot dogs
* 8 buns (optional)

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in crock pot.
2. Cook, covered, on low for 6-7 hours.
3. You may want to serve this by putting the hot dog on a hearty bun, then spooning some of the barbecued beans over the top.

You can cut the hot dogs up if you like, but I like to leave them whole so we can serve them up like a street vendor - dog on a bun, then top with chili beans and cut up some sweet onion to top it all off with. Maybe even a drizzle of mustard, too.
