Story
|
We normally have a bag or two of bagels in the refrigerator and rarely get through a whole bag before they get stale. That is, until I figured out I could use them instead of plain bread for French toast. Since my family LOVES French toast for breakfast, we now have trouble keeping bagels in the house!
Bagels are the perfect solid texture for making French toast. Rather than using stale bread, you can use fresh bagels and get the same solid consistency you need for soaking up the milk and egg without getting soggy. Enjoy!
