1. Put chicken in crock pot. Mix sour cream with soy sauce and soup mix then spoon over chicken.
2. Cook, covered, on low 6 hours.
3. Serve chicken alongside hot potatoes, using liquid as gravy on potatoes.

Don't be afraid of the soy in this recipe, it really adds a nice ZIP to the gravy. Don't whip your potatoes, keep them coarse smashed, with a few lumps to stand up to the creamy and tangy gravy. This dish is quite oniony and tangy, so it may not be tolerated too well by a very finicky youngster, but you never can tell! Give it a try... you can always skip the gravy if your youngster isn't a fan of onions.
