Creamy Hot Crab Sandwich |
Ingredients

* 3 oz cream cheese, room temperature
* 1 TBSP milk
* 2 to 3 dashes of Tabasco sauce
* 2 tsp lemon juice
* 2 green onions, finely chopped
* 1 cup lump crab meat
* 2 English muffins, toasted

Directions

1. Preheat the broiler.
2. Whisk the cream cheese, milk, Tabasco sauce, and lemon juice together in a bowl.
3. Fold in the onions and crab meat.
4. Top each muffin with the crab mixture and broil 5 to 6 inches away from broiler for about 1 minute or until golden brown.

This is an elegant open-face sandwich that is super simple to prepare. Watch the broiler carefully as these will toast up quickly. I toast the English muffins first so they aren't soggy underneath the crab mixture. When they're done broiling, remove to a rack so the bottom stays as crispy as possible.
