Creamy Potato Bacon Soup - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 8 cups diced potatoes
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 3 cans (14 12 oz each) chicken broth
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup
* 1/4 teaspoon pepper
* 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, cubed
* 1/2 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions

1. Put the potatoes, onion, broth, soup and pepper in crock pot. Mix well.
2. Cook, covered, on low for 8-10 hours.
3. Stir in the cream cheese. Cook and stir until smooth.
4. Serve topped with bacon.

Any time you combine cream cheese, potatoes, and bacon in a dish, you have an instant winner. Potato soup has been one of my all time favorite meals since I was little. This recipe stands up to any I've served. Great!
