Sure is Sherry Chicken Breasts - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 2-3 chicken breasts
* 2 tablespoons butter, melted
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
* 1/2 cup dry sherry
* 1 teaspoon rosemary, crushed
* 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
* 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (may substitute 1 small clove garlic, minced)
* 1 can (4 oz) sliced mushrooms, drained (may substitute fresh sliced)

Directions

1. Place chicken breasts in crock pot. Mix all other ingredients, then pour into crock pot.
2. Cook, covered, on low for 8-10 hours.

In my estimation, Sherry is good for only one thing. Cooking. But, it does that one thing very well! I highly recommend buying a good Sherry (please no cooking sherry, yuck) and keeping it just for cooking. And I challenge you to find some more good recipes with Sherry and give them a try. This one is a great place to start because it's so easy and 'creamylicious'. You'll be amazed at the flavor underneath the flavor that Sherry provides. Enjoy!
