Easy Chicken Alfredo with Linguine - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
* 1 jar of Alfredo sauce
* 1 (14 oz) can chicken broth
* 2 green onions, chopped, including the tops
* hot, cooked linguine pasta
* grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. In bowl, whisk together the chicken broth and alfredo sauce.
2. Pour 1/3 the sauce mix into the crock pot.
3. Lay the chicken breasts on top of the sauce in the crock pot.
4. Pour the remaining sauce all over the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
5. Sprinkle the green onions over the top.
6. Cook covered for 7 hours or until the chicken is cooked through.
7. Serve over hot, cooked linguine pasta.
8. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Mixing a jar of alfredo sauce with chicken broth does a couple things. I find it keeps the chicken breasts a bit more tender in a crock pot dish, and it stretches out a jar of alfredo sauce so you can cover more linguine with it! If you've got an Alfredo-loving family, like mine, you'll appreciate having seconds to offer.
