Five Ingredient Smoky Corn Chowder - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 1 cup frozen hash browns with peppers and onions
* 1 cup smoked ham, diced
* 1 pkg (10 oz) frozen corn
* 1 can (10 oz) cream of celery soup
* 2 to 2 1/2 cups milk
* salt and pepper to taste

Directions

1. Put all ingredients in crock pot and stir to combine.
2. Set heat to LOW and cook for 5 to 7 hours.
3. Add more salt and pepper if desired.

I use a nice smoky ham for this corn chowder so it tastes old fashioned. Another trick is to sprinkle in just a dash of smoked paprika during the last 10 minutes or so of cooking.
Enjoy this hearty soup with big chunks of crusty bread. This is an easy crock pot meal that both kids and grownups like.
