1. Wash and shred cabbage.
2. Peel and dice potatoes.
3. Combine vegetables with milk and water in soup pan.
4. Add mace, butter, salt, pepper, and nutmeg mace.
5. Boil until tender.
6. Once vegetables are tender, using a bit of water, rub wheat meal until smooth.
7. Reduce heat to simmering.
8. Add wheat meal.
9. Simmer for 5 minutes.
10. Add parsley.
11. Serve.
