* 1 lb gum drop candies
* 1 lb seedless grapes, halved
* 1 C of mini marshmallows
* 2 C crushed pineapple, drained (reserve juice)
* 1 C pecans, chopped
* 2 tsp lemon juice
* 2 tsp water
* 3/4 C pineapple juice
* 2/3 C sugar
* 1 tsp vinegar
* 1/4 C flour

1. Place the gum drops, grapes, marshmallows into a large serving bowl, and add the pineapple, and pecans, mixing everything together well.
2. In a large saucepan, pour the lemon juice, water, and pineapple juice in and mix to combine.
3. Heat over medium heat, then stir in the sugar and vinegar.
4. Bring the mixture to a brisk boil then slowly stir in the flour.
5. Continue boiling and stirring until the mixture becomes thick.
6. Remove from heat and cool the sauce to room temperature.
7. Once cool, pour the sauce over the gum drop mixture and toss to coat well.

I'm not sure if calling this a salad is the right thing to do. Kids might get the wrong notion. Is it alright to eat candy and call it a salad?
Regardless, this is a great treat to make the kids, especially for a party of play date. It's fun, interesting, and yummy!
