Greek Yogurt Tarter Sauce |
Ingredients

* 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
* 1 TBSP olive oil mayonnaise
* 1 medium Kosher dill pickle, finely chopped
* 2 TBSP finely chopped red onion
* 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
* 1/4 tsp garlic powder
* 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Directions

1. Put all the ingredients in a glass bowl and whisk together to combine.
2. Mixture should be nice and smooth.
3. Chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

This is a healthier choice for tartar sauce for a couple reasons. Greek yogurt is packed with protein. Olive oil mayonnaise has much less fat than regular mayonnaise, and the fat it has is healthy fat. You'll also notice there is no added sugar - unlike store bought tartar sauce.
Once you try this tartar sauce you'll never buy that other stuff again. Use this as a fish dip or even as a marinade. Very tasty AND healthy!
