Hearty Creamed Beef - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 2 lbs boneless beef roast, cubed
* 1 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 teaspoon pepper
* 1/2 cup flour
* 1 teaspoon paprika
* 1 teaspoon onion powder
* 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of celery soup
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of mushroom soup
* 2 cups water
* 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
* 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions

1. Mix flour with salt, pepper, paprika and onion powder.
2. Dredge beef in mixture then brown in hot oil in large skillet.
3. Combine browned beef with remaining ingredients in crock pot.
4. Cook, covered, on low for 8 hours.

Story
|
Browning the beef cubes before putting them in the crock pot adds a nicer, heartier, taste and look to this beef dish. It's creamy enough to serve over some nice, buttered egg noodles. Sprinkle a little freshly snipped parsley over the top of each plate when you serve it up.
