Lima Beans with Smoked Sausage - Crock Pot |

Ingredients

* 1 lb dry lima beans
* 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
* 1 bunch green onions, chopped
* 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
* 4 beef bouillon cubes
* 1 teaspoon tobasco sauce
* 6 cups water

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in crock pot.
2. Cook, covered, on low for 8-9 hours.

This dish is very inexpensive to make and will satisfy an army! Any time you use dried beans in a dish, you're not only being frugal, but the nutritional value gets bumped way up. This is a very rich dish that is filling all by itself - you don't need anything with it except maybe some crunchy bread.
