Macaroni & Cheese & Sausage

Ingredients

* 1 tablespoon butter * 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
* 2 tablespoons chopped onion
* 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
* 1 cup milk
* 1 package (16 oz) little smokies sausage
* 8 oz process American cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes
* 1 cup frozen peas
* 4 cups cooked elbow macaroni

Directions

1. Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add red bell pepper and onion and cook until tender.
2. Stir together soup and milk in a bowl, add to skillet. Then stir in sausage, cheese and peas.
3. Reduce heat to simmer and cook about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
4. Stir in macaroni and cook another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
