Mexican Apple Cobbler |
Ingredients

* 1 can apple pie filling
* 1 tsp. cinnamon
* 10-12 (8-inch) tortillas
* 2 cups sugar
* 1 tsp. cinnamon
* 1 1/2 c. water
* 3/4 c. oleo
* Whipped topping or ice cream

Directions

1. Chop apple in small pieces and add cinnamon.
2. Put 2-3 tablespoons of mixture in each tortilla and roll up.
3. Place in 9 X 13 inch pan.
4. Heat water, sugar, oleo, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon to boiling and pour over tortillas and sit in refrigerator 3 hours or overnight.
5. Bake in 350 degree oven for 35 minutes.
6. Cool.
7. Top with Cool Whip or ice cream

This is a great recipe to make ahead for family reunions, church socials, dinner guests. It is a fabulous dessert and it is easy. Make it the night before and your preparations for the next day are cut.
