1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Put roast in heavy roasting pan with cover.
3. Put French onion soup, beef broth, and garlic powder in a bowl, stirring to combine.
4. Pour this mixture over roast in pan.
5. Cover roasting pan and bake for 3-4 hours. Try not to peek so you don't let the moisture out.
6. Serve with boiled, smashed potatoes, and boiled green beans with a sprinkle of garlic powder in the water.
