Every newly married couple needs a very simple, never-fail, casserole dish to put together when it's time for the in-laws to come to dinner. This is probably one of the all-time great simple but delicious casseroles.
If newlyweds feels a bit more confident, they can try adding a bit of finely chopped green onion, and a clove of garlic, crushed up, to the rice mix. And certainly a sprinkle of fresh grated Parmesan cheese on top of the chicken would be a hit. Just don't use that canister of dried Parmesan cheese - it won't be at all the same as freshly grated. Take my word for it.
