Open Face Pork & Bean Sandwich

Ingredients

* 5 slices of bread, toasted
* 1 can pork & beans
* 10 strips bacon, cooked
* 3 slices onion, separated into rings
* 5 slices American cheese

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350.
2. Put the toast on a baking sheet.
3. Spread 3 tablespoons of pork & beans on each slice.
4. Put 2 slices of bacon on each slice, breaking into pieces to make fit evenly.
5. Place a few onion rings on top.
6. Top with a slice of cheese.
7. Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and very lightly browned.

Story

This sandwich is a great change from Sloppy Joes. They make a great snack for game day. Bring out a tray with these during half-time and watch the fans dig in!
