Philly Creamed Corn With Green Chilies |
Ingredients

* 1 (16 oz) bag frozen whole kernel corn, thawed
* 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
* 1 (4 oz) can green chilies, chopped
* 1 tablespoon butter

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients in a large saucepan.
2. Heat over low heat, stirring often.
3. Keep heating until cream cheese is melted, then remove from heat and serve.

Our family has never been fond of creamed corn in the cans. So,we came up with this recipe that is tasty and really creamy. The added chilies make this dish even more flavorful. It's also almost as easy as just opening one of those cans of creamed corn, so why not splurge and make this dish, instead!
