* 1 1/2 lbs bulk pork sausage
* 1/2 lb ground beef
* 1 cup chopped onion
* 2 cans (15 1/2 oz each) kidney beans, drained
* 1 can (28 oz) tomatoes, cut up (do not drain)
* 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
* 1 cup thinly sliced celery
* 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 2 teaspoons salt
* 2 teaspoons chili powder

1. Brown pork and beef with onions in a large saucepan over medium heat. Drain fat.
2. Add beans, tomatoes, bell pepper, celery, tomato paste, garlic, salt and chili powder. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 - 2 hours, stirring once in a while.
