1. Boil 1/2 C water in a large saucepan over medium high heat.
2. Once water is boiling rapidly add celery.
3. Cook celery 4 minutes or until just starting to tender.
4. Add peas and onions.
5. Return water to a rapid boil.
6. Continue to cook until peas are tender 4 to 5 minutes.
7. Drain well.
8. Toss with butter.
