Sub Sandwiches Ready When You Are

Ingredients

* 1 (16 oz) loaf French bread
* 1/2 (8 oz) container of sour cream Ranch style dip
* 3/4 cup shredded carrots
* 1 cup lettuce, shredded
* 1/2 of a cucumber, peeled, seeded and shredded
* 2 oz deli roast beef, thin sliced
* 2 oz deli ham, thin sliced
* 2 oz deli turkey, thin sliced
* 2 oz deli chicken, thin sliced
* 4 oz provolone cheese, thin sliced

Directions

1. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise.
2. Spread the sour cream Ranch dip onto both cut sides of the bread.
3. Layer the carrots, lettuce, cucumbers, and all the deli meat and cheese onto one half of the bread.
4. Close the bread over the top.
5. Wrap tightly in plastic food wrap and refrigerate for up to 8 hours.
6. To serve, cut into 4 to 8 segments.

These are the perfect hearty sandwiches to have in the refrigerator when you come back from a long day of work, shopping, school, or whatever keeps you away and makes you hungry.

Use any variety of meat you want, but these are my favorite cuts. Getting the meat and cheese from the deli makes this recipe easy to throw together any time. The more pre-cut and pre-prepared food items you use, the faster the sandwiches will go together.

You can use a different dressing, but when you let the subs sit in the refrigerator, you'll want something that's not too watery. Experiment with your favorite and enjoy!
