Sweet & Savory Spinach Salad Dressing

Ingredients

* 3/4 cup sugar
* 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
* 1 tablespoon celery seed
* 1 1/2 teaspoons paprika
* 1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard

* 1 1/2 cups salad oil
* 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

* 1 clove garlic, grated or pressed

Directions

1. Stir together to combine the first 5 ingredients.
2. In a separate bowl whisk together the salad oil and apple cider vinegar.
3. Slowly whisk oil-vinegar into dry mixture
4. Lastly add garlic and mix until just combined.
5. Serve immediately on spinach salad.

When you can't decide between sweet and savory, you don't have to. Use this delicate combination of flavors on a fresh spinach salad for a perfected finished dish.

The dressing should be room temperature poured over cold spinach on an ice cold plate. Just set your salad plates in the freezer for about 1 minute before you put the salads together.

Add any other favorite spinach salad ingredients to this salad before dressing - feta or bleu cheese, red onions, croutons, or hard boiled eggs, just to name a few.
