Swiss Cheese Chicken with Stuffing - Crock Pot |
Ingredients

* 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp pepper
* 4 slices Swiss cheese
* 1 (11 oz) can cream of chicken soup
* 1 (11 oz) can cream of celery soup
* 1 C chicken broth
* 1/4 C milk
* 2 C packaged stuffing mix
* 1/4 C butter, melted

Directions

1. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with the salt and pepper.
2. Lay the seasoned chicken into the crock pot.
3. On each chicken breast put one slice of the Swiss cheese.
4. Pour the broth over the chicken breasts.
5. In a mixing bowl whisk together both soups and the milk until smooth.
6. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken covering well.
7. Stir the stuffing mix into the mixture.
8. Pour the melted butter over the stuffing mix being sure to coat it well.
9. Cook covered for 8 hours on low.

Swiss cheese is a nice choice for this crock pot meal. It blends well with the flavors and especially the stuffing. Kids seem to really enjoy anything made with that handy-dandy stuffing mix, and when you top it off with swiss cheese, you can't lose.
