Kids Eating Healthy (with recipes)
Little ones need a healthy, nutritious and balanced diet. Healthy meal ideas for children must include recipes with a lot of flavor and texture. At the same time a healthy lunch must provide the vitamins and nutrients that a child needs to grow and develop.
Planning a healthy lunch for a child is a delicate balancing act. Using the new USDA Mypyramid as a guide, nutritionists want to insure the foods we make for children are within the government recommended guidelines for child health.
Unfortunately, a steady diet of McDonalds’s will wreck our health and the health of our children. Mealtime can be fun at home. In addition, meals prepared by the loving hand of Mom will provide the nutrients that children need to grow.
