Ham and Cabbage Dinner - Crock Pot


* 4 lb boneless smoked ham
* 2 cans (16 oz each) whole potatoes, drained
* 16 oz bag frozen baby carrots
* 2 lb head of cabbage, cut in wedges
* 1/2 cup water


1. Put the ham in crock pot.
2. Put vegetables on and around ham. Pour in water.
3. Cook, covered, on low for 7-8 hours.


If you're looking for a quick and easy version of the traditional ham and cabbage meal, this is certainly the one to try. It just takes a few minutes in the morning to throw together the ingredients, and when your family walks in the door for dinner, you have a complete meal waiting for you. This is a great kid-friendly meal... no onions!

It's my first time cooking this ham/cabbage in crock pot.In fact it's only my second time using the pot.I thought I had to put in water until it filled half the pot.
