1. Add flour, salt and baking soda in bowl.
2. In a separate bowl, add butter and sugar.
3. Add the egg, lemon juice and lemon peel.
4. Blend in flour mixture to form a dough.
5. Roll the dough into two 9-inch logs.
6. Wrap in saran wrap and refrigerate until firm.
7. Cut dough into �-inch thick slices.
8. Sprinkle slices with sugar and place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
9. Bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden.
10. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire rack.
