3 Step Baked Beef Stroganoff


* 3 lbs beef stew meat, cubed
* 2 cans golden cream of mushroom soup
* 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
* hot cooked wide egg noodles


1. Preheat oven to 300.
2. Put all ingredients in Dutch oven and stir together gently.
3. Bake for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is fork tender.


1 2 3 and dinner is ready! This is my kind of dish. Just mix and forget. The only thing I have to remember to do is make the noodles.

This is a great recipe to teach a starving college student how to make. It is a simple recipe that can be tweaked to include more vegetables or even a different type of meat. Chicken thighs are often very cheap and would work great. Just cut the cooking time down to about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
