Asparagus Parmesan


* 1 lb fresh asparagus, tough ends cut off
* 4 tablespoons butter
* 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
* salt & pepper


1. Gently boil asparagus for about 8-10 minutes. Drain, then put on a serving platter.
2. Melt butter then pour over asparagus. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then top with parmesan cheese.


Asparagus is so good when it's fresh and tender. I like it just as it is, but the kids need a bit of a boost to get them to try it. A little butter and Parmesan makes this asparagus dish a definite winner with my kids.
