Baked Beans Bold & Smokey - Crock Pot

Ingredients

* 2 cans (15 oz each) pinto beans, rinsed & drained
* 2 cans (15 oz each) dark red kidney beans, rinsed & drained
* 1 can (30 oz) chili beans, drained (not rinsed)
* 1 large onion, chopped
* 1 green bell pepper, chopped
* 3/4 cup ketchup
* 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
* 1 teaspoon liquid smoke hickory seasoning
* 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
* 2 heaping teaspoons instant coffee powder dissolved in 2 tablespoons boiling water

Directions

1. Put the pinto beans, kidney beans, chili beans, onion and bell pepper in crock pot.
2. Combine the ketchup, mustard, liquid smoke, brown sugar and coffee in a bowl. Pour into crock pot and mix well but gently so the beans don't get smashed.
3. Cook, covered, on low for 4-5 hours.
